About Hør Organic Linen
'Hør' is the Danish word for Linen. This is a 100% Organic fibre althought the dyes are non organic.
ISAGER HØR ORGANIC can be used individually with two or more strands held together, or it can be knitted with other Isager yarns.
It is not advisable to knit in the rounds with this yarn on it's own as the garment will skew. However if working a knitting technique with this yarn, e.g. a Structured or textured pattern or a Jacquard pattern or a pattern with two or more colours, it can be knitted in the round.
The colour range blends perfectly with other Isager yarns and the colour combinations are endless. The yarn consists of 100% organic fibres but the dyes are non organic – with the exception for the undyed colour Linen, of course. This yarn is the fine alternative for people with wool allergies
We currently have it in 5 colours, all a set of lovely earth tones
The yarn is a 4 ply yarn ideal for Summer tees or tops it can be knitted on its own or stranded with other yarns
Intially when using it, it can feel a little stiff, but the more you use it or 'work' it the softer it becomes and has a beautiful drape.

Venice Sleeveless Top
A good place to start is the Isager Ravelry store and this sleeveless top by Helga Isager caught my eye:
The top is worked from the bottom up. The front and back are worked separately.
The armhole edges are worked in rib with selvedge stitches. Stitches are cast-on at the hem using the Italian cast-on technique and bound off at the neck edge using the Italian bind-off technique.
It requires two different colours of the Isager Hør Organic

Dappled Lace Raglan
Dappled Lace Raglan is an all-over lace raglan that is knit top down in the round. The lace motif is simple to knit yet creates a gorgeous and ornate textile. The texture of this sweater is light and drapey, and the relaxed fit makes for a comfortable and easy to wear garment
