About PetiteKnit
Founded in 2016 by Mette Wendelboe Okkels, a former medical student turned knitwear designer, PetiteKnit is based in Risskov, Denmark. Mette brings a methodical, detail-driven approach to pattern writing — her medical background informs the clarity and precision that makes PetiteKnit patterns so accessible and enjoyable to follow, whether you're casting on your first sweater or working an advanced colourwork project.
The brand has grown to over 300 designs, spanning every skill level from beginner through to expert. The hallmark of PetiteKnit patterns is their focus on construction and flow — designs that knit up naturally, minimising unnecessary seaming, and producing finished garments with a clean, modern aesthetic. Many patterns are available in an exceptionally wide range of sizes to ensure a great fit for everyone.
