Orry Yarn Merino DK is our first ever yarn - a 100% merino wool base designed with purpose, precision, and a deep sense of place. After seven years of building The Orry Mill community in Glasgow, teaching hundreds of knitters, designing patterns, and shaping a modern approach to Scottish craft, we're proud to introduce a yarn that carries everything we believe in.

Rooted in Scotland's landscapes, light, and weather, our debut palette features 16 contemporary tones shaped by the west‑coast sky: granite washed by rain, deep fern greens, soft heathers, and muted coastal golds. Not nostalgic. Not twee. Just the real colours of here - translated into a modern, confident Scottish voice.

Merino DK has a smooth texture and crisp stitch definition that supports clean, wearable design.
