PetiteKnit – Friday Slipover Knitting Kit
Designed by Mette Wendelboe Okkels – PetiteKnit
The Friday Slipover is worked from the top down in broken rib. The back of the yoke is worked first, then the shoulders, then the front of the yoke, and finally the body. Rib edges are worked at the neck and along the armholes.
We have put this kit together in Bramble & Fleece Sheepsoft DK, worked as a single strand rather than two strands held together. Sheepsoft DK is a Bluefaced Leicester and Masham blend, spun, dyed and finished in West Yorkshire within fifty miles of the fleece. It gives the broken rib real structure and a quiet heathered depth.

A note on the needles
The slipover is worked in the round throughout, so circulars in both lengths are needed. The shorter 40cm is for the neck and armhole edges.
Choosing your size
The Friday Slipover is designed with approximately 6cm [2¼in] of positive ease. Measure around the widest part of your upper body and choose the size that gives you that.
