PetiteKnit Ivy Sweater - Knitting Kit

The Ivy Sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in one piece. The yoke is built in three stages: shoulder increases first, then increases on the sleeves only, then classic raglan increases on both body and sleeves. Short rows shape the neckline, and the sleeves are finished in the round.
We have made it up in Sandnes Garn Kos, a chainette spun from 62% baby alpaca, 9% wool and 29% nylon. PetiteKnit suggest Isager Soft, Snefnug or Poppy, but there are plenty of Ivy Sweaters on Ravelry knitted in Kos and they come out beautifully, so it is the one we have chosen for this kit. At 150 m to a 50 g ball it knits quickly on 5 mm needles, and the chainette construction keeps it light rather than dense. The generous ease and soft halo suit each other: this is a jumper to live in rather than one to fit closely.

The shaping changes character three times through the yoke, and there are short rows at the neck. None of it is difficult on its own, but you will want to keep track of where you are.
Sizes: XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL), to fit a bust of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm.
Finished bust: 92 (97) 102 (107) 112 (122) 130 (140) 150 (158) cm. Designed for around 12 cm of positive ease.
Length: 52 (54) 56 (58) 60 (61) 62 (63) 67 (67) cm, measured mid back.
Gauge: 16 stitches and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stocking stitch on 5 mm needles.

Choosing your size
This one is meant to be roomy. Measure your full bust, then pick the size whose to-fit range you land in, and you will end up with about 12 cm of ease. If you prefer a closer fit, size down.

Yarn Usage
Sandnes Garn Kos is 50 g / 150 m per ball. PetiteKnit give the quantity in Snefnug, which is 110 m to a ball, so we have converted by metreage and rounded up to the nearest whole ball of Kos. The ten sizes group into four quantities, so the kit is sold in four size bands.
