Sophie Hood - Knitting Kit

The Sophie Hood is worked in one piece from tip to tip. It is worked flat, back and forth, in garter stitch with built-in i-cord edges. The hood is shaped using increases and decreases, and it’s back is sewn together at the end, using mattress stitch along the back of the neck.
We love this hood so much that we have put a kit together in a variety of popular yarn choices that we know will look great.
Rowan Kid Classic - (140m per 50g) - A beautiful blend of 70% lambswool, 22% kid mohair and 8% polyamide creates a lovely, soft yarn and is our personal favourite for the Sophie Shawl giving fabulous results. An aran weight wool yarn, with a super-light feel.
WYS Fable Brushed Aran - (166m per 100g) - A unique blend of Falkland Wool, British Alpaca & British Mohair, gently brushed to enhance the beautiful halo effect. Similar to the Rowan Kid Classic but slightly heavier this yarn will give you a fabulous hood too.
