The Sophie Shawl is worked back and forth in one piece, from tip to tip in garter stitch with built-in i-cord edges.
We love this shawl so much that we have put a kit together in a variety of popular yarn choices that we know will look great.
Rowan Kid Classic - (140m per 50g) - A beautiful blend of 70% lambswool, 22% kid mohair and 8% polyamide creates a lovely, soft yarn and is our personal favourite for the Sophie Shawl giving fabulous results. An aran weight wool yarn, with a super-light feel.
WYS Fable Brushed Aran - (166m per 100g) - A unique blend of Falkland Wool, British Alpaca & British Mohair, gently brushed to enhance the beautiful halo effect. Similar to the Rowan Kid Classic but slightly heavier this yarn will give you a fabulous shawl too.
