A relaxed-fit slipover with effective textured stripes created by mixing stocking stitch and garter stitch against a plain knit panel. It includes a crew neck and split hem details, and is worked in Bramble & Fleece Sheepsoft DK in the striking shade Ingleton.
The texture here comes entirely from alternating stocking and garter stitch — no cables, no colourwork, no charts — which makes Firethorn one of the easiest ways to get a genuinely interesting fabric. The split hem gives it a modern, slightly oversized line that layers well over a shirt.
