Origin 008 is a non-superwash sock yarn, which is increasingly what experienced sock knitters ask for. Corriedale is a dual-coated breed with a springy, resilient staple that wears extremely well, and because the fibre has not been through a superwash process it keeps its natural crimp and grip - meaning the fabric holds its shape on the foot instead of stretching out and going baggy. It is also the most affordable base in the collection.
Perfect for socks, mitts and hardwearing accessories. At 400m to 100g there is plenty for a full adult pair with contrast heels and toes left over. Undyed it is a natural creamy white, and it takes dye readily.
