Sheepsoft 4 Ply is Bramble & Fleece's signature fingering-weight yarn, blending soft British Bluefaced Leicester with hardier Masham for a wool that has both drape and backbone. The Masham is used in its natural shades and blended with dyed Bluefaced Leicester, which is what gives every colour its gentle heathered depth rather than a flat single tone. Fleece, scouring, spinning and dyeing all happen within fifty miles in West Yorkshire. It is a yarn that feels honest in the hand - soft enough to wear next to the skin, sturdy enough to hold its shape for years.

Perfect for shawls, tanks, colourwork accessories and finer-gauge jumpers. The fifteen shades sit in a muted, nature-led palette that layers beautifully for stranded work, with the three newest additions - Thirsk, Richmond and Ingleton - bringing warmer depth to a range that was previously weighted towards greys and soft neutrals. The heathering means shade transitions read softly rather than as hard blocks, which is forgiving if you are new to colourwork.
