Which yarn does the Hazel Scarf use?
Hazel is written for Bramble & Fleece Sheepsoft Fibreknit, British wool knitted into a fine chainette tube rather than spun, which traps air for warmth at very little weight. You will need 3 x 50g balls.
Is it a good first project?
Yes. Moss stitch is just alternating knit and purl, and the increases are worked as knit into the front and back of a stitch. The pattern includes a tip on marking the right side so your increases stay consistent.
